Multiplication Strategies

My Reflection

I was learning to use different multiplication strategies to work out different problems.

I found the place value strategy and compensation strategy easy to understand because it was explained clearly to me and I practised it lots of times.

My next step is to understand the doubling and halving strategy because I get confused with the way you have to double and halve.

 My Refletion

    I was learning to relate to the characters.

                                             

   We have been reading the book George's Marvellous Medcine.               

   We used a website called tagul to show our learning.I found this easy because I knew what to do and how to do it.

My next step is to write a paragraph using these words to describe Grandma.

I have been learning to identify nouns,verb, adjectives and adverbs.

A noun is a doing word.

My Daffodil Poem

I have been learning to write a dimante poem.
Our topic was daffodills because its spring.
I found this work easy because I listen very carefully so I knew what to do.
My next step is to write a atanome poem.

My Special Place

I was learning to use my senses to add detail to my writing. I found this work easy because I got to write about something I knew about.It helped me to use my senses.

Fractions of a Set

We are learning about unit fractions of a set.

One thing that worked for me was knowing my basic facts.

One thing that was tricky for me was when the numbers are big and I don’t know the basic facts that go with them.

I was learning to create a dream house using shapes.

We used shapes like equilateral triangles and squares.

I thought Te Tuhi was fun and I want to go again.

I made a popplet with Tanzee and Eliani about earthquakes.  We made this because we need to be prepared incase of an earthquake. You should be prepared.

Comparing characters

I was learning to compare characters.  I compared Leslie and Jesse

from the book Bridge To Tribithia.  I thought it was easy to to think 

of things about the characters.  The next step for me is to think of who

I was learning to write a simple recount in the right oder. I found this work easy because I knew how to use sequencing words already. My next step is to write a longer recount.

I was learning that numbers can be broken up in different ways.

I found it easy because I used the knowledge I all ready knew.

My next step is to make it more challenging.
